Ganesha and Kubera for Entrepreneurs
Sound familiar?
Enquiries come in, but too few of them turn into paying clients.
Invoices sit unpaid for weeks while you chase politely.
You launch something new and quietly hope no obstacle appears.
Your parents opened every account book with a ritual, and you’re not sure how they did it.
Indian business has always run on two things. Honest effort, and the blessings of Ganesha and Kubera.
Five divine partners
Each ritual in the book works with the deity tradition links to one part of business, so you know exactly who to call on, and on which day.
01
New beginnings, removing obstacles, and Shubh-Labh: a good start that leads to good gain.
02
Sales, prosperity and good fortune. Friday is her day.
03
Holding and growing money: cash flow and the treasury. Thursday is his day.
04
Trade, communication, negotiation and commerce, every Wednesday.
05
Clear words, creativity, marketing and learning, for every pitch you send.
शुभ
“Ganesha is shown with two sons, Shubh and Labh: auspiciousness and profit. That is why traders write both words on their doors and account books. A good beginning leads to good gain.”

A gift before you buy
This is Ritual 3 from the book, the simplest in it, and the one traders across India have kept for generations. Try it with your first payment tomorrow.
Ritual 03 · Begin right
Purpose: Honour the first sale or first payment of each day, which traders call bohni, believed to set the tone for the day’s business.
Best time: Every working day, with the first payment you receive.
You will need: Just the first money of the day: cash, or the payment notification on your phone.
1. When the first payment arrives, pause.
2. Touch the money (or your phone) to your forehead, then to your cash box or Lakshmi image.
3. Silently chant the mantra three times and say “thank you”.
4. Place the money in the cash box rather than spending it straight away.
The mantra
ॐ श्रीं महालक्ष्म्यै नमः
Om Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah
Many traders treat the first customer with extra warmth and never argue at bohni. A good first exchange is thought to bring a good day.
That is one of 11. The other 10 are waiting inside, including the launch-day ritual, the Kubera yantra and the stuck-payment ritual.
The monthly routine
A simple routine that follows the moon, the way Indian traders have tracked their months for centuries. Each ritual moment is paired with a real business task, about 15 minutes on the days it applies.
New moon
Ganesha mantra 108 times. Write this month’s sales and income targets on a card for your altar.
Every Wednesday
The Budh ritual for trade. Then pitches, follow-ups and negotiations.
Every Thursday
A lamp and 11 Kubera mantras at your yantra. Review cash flow and send invoices.
Every Friday
The Lakshmi mantra 108 times. Reach out to past clients and ask for referrals.
Every Tuesday
The stuck-payment ritual, then follow up on every unpaid invoice.
Full moon
Lamps and kheer for Lakshmi. Fill in the monthly scorecard and celebrate the wins with your team.

Questions
Will these rituals guarantee more sales?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who says otherwise. These rituals bring focus, confidence and, in the tradition’s understanding, grace. That is why every practice is paired with a real business task. The traders who used them also worked hard.
Do I need a guru or initiation (diksha)?
No. Every practice in the book is a household ritual traditionally open to sincere beginners. Practices that require initiation, or that aim to control or harm anyone, are deliberately left out.
I run an online business. Does this still apply?
Yes. The book adapts each ritual for founders, freelancers and online sellers: bless a website launch, a new client contract, the first payment notification on your phone, or the desk where you work.
How much time does it take each day?
Most rituals take 10 to 20 minutes. Bohni takes a few seconds. The monthly routine fits around your week, and the minimum version is just Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Do I need to buy expensive items?
No. The rituals use simple things: a lamp, a coconut, turmeric, flowers, a Ganesha image and a printable Kubera yantra from the book.
Do my employees need to take part?
No. The rituals are yours. Many owners invite staff to the Diwali and opening rituals because it builds a sense of shared purpose, but it is always optional.
What language is it in?
Clear, simple English. Every mantra is written in easy-to-read transliteration with a pronunciation guide, so you can chant it with confidence.
How do I get the book after I pay?
Instantly. You'll get a download link on the thank-you page and by email. The PDF works on your phone, tablet or computer, and the tracker pages are ready to print.
