Purpose
Walk into an interview calm, clear and confident.

The morning of the interview.
You will need
A copper pot of water, a lamp, curd and sugar, a red or saffron item to carry.

Surya Arghya, the Morning Water Offering
Purpose Confidence, clarity, vitality and recognition.
Best time Daily, within an hour of sunrise.
1. Face the rising sun with a copper pot of water.
2. Add kumkum, a flower and a few grains of rice.
3. Pour slowly, looking through the falling water.
4. Chant the mantra 11 or 21 times.
5. State one career intention for the day.

A gift before you buy

Ritual 01 · Surya’s light
Purpose: The foundation practice. Offer water to the rising sun for confidence, clarity, vitality and recognition.
Best time: Daily, within an hour of sunrise; begin on a Sunday.
You will need: A copper pot of clean water, a pinch of kumkum or a red flower, a few grains of rice.
1. Bathe and stand facing the rising sun, or east.
2. Add the kumkum, flower and rice to the water.
3. Raise the pot to chest height and pour slowly, looking at the sun through the falling water, never directly at it.
4. Chant the mantra 11 or 21 times while pouring.
5. Let the water fall onto a plant. Bow, and state one career intention for the day.
The mantra

Om Ghrinih Suryaya Namah
Never look directly at the sun. Look at its light through the stream of water.

Will these rituals get me a job or promotion?
No ritual can guarantee a job, a promotion or an interview result, and you should be wary of anyone who says otherwise. These practices build calm, confidence and discipline and, in the tradition’s understanding, invite grace. That is why every week of the plan comes with real career actions.
Do I need a guru or initiation (diksha)?
No. Every practice in the book is a household ritual traditionally open to sincere beginners. Practices that require initiation, or that aim to control or harm anyone, are deliberately left out.
